Small apps for everyday life, built so your data stays on your phone.

We make personal tools for the things people actually keep track of — the books they own, what they spend on a trip, what's left to pay this month. No accounts to create, no data sent to us.

A small, female-led software company in Cheshire, England.

Got an idea for an app you wish existed, or something one of ours should do? Email us — every suggestion gets read, and most get a reply.

What we're building

None of these are on sale yet. They've all started life as apps we wanted ourselves, and are being tidied up for other people. If one of them sounds useful, or you'd change something about it, say so — it helps us decide what to finish first.

  • BookTrek In development

Your own book library. Scan a barcode or type an ISBN and the details fill themselves in, so you can see what you own, what you've read, and what you've lent to whom — without a spreadsheet.

  • TripTrek showing a route from Manchester through Korea, Japan and Hong Kong, with the trip's spending totals
    TripTrek In development

Log what you spend while you're away with one tap, in whatever currency you're paying in, and see the running total on your home screen.

  • MoneyTrek In development

Bills, subscriptions and buy-now-pay-later purchases in one view, arranged around your payday rather than the calendar month, so you can see what's actually left to pay before the next one.

  • ScentTrek suggesting tonight's layering — shower, body oil, deodorant and fragrance — for 16° and overcast in Chester
    ScentTrek In development

Keep your fragrance collection in one place and get a suggestion for what to wear today, based on the weather and what you're doing. Includes a travel guide to local perfumers wherever you're going.

  • RideTrek Early idea

A simple log for e-bike rides — distance, battery, charging — so you know what a full charge really gets you before you plan a longer trip.

About

EJAI Solutions has been around since 2006, mostly doing IT consultancy for large organisations. After twenty years of building systems that handle other people's data very carefully, we've turned to something smaller: apps for one person at a time, where the simplest way to be careful with your data is not to collect it.

So that's the rule. What you put into an EJAI app lives on your device. We don't run servers that hold it, we don't see it, and there's nothing to delete if you decide to stop using the app — just remove it.

EJAI Solutions is female-led, with twenty-odd years in IT behind it, working from home in Cheshire. Small on purpose: every app is built, tested and supported by the people who use it.
